The Pacific Coast Hockey Academy is an officially sanctioned Hockey Canada Accredited School (HCAS), and is the first high performance academy on Vancouver island.

Our Academy runs for the entirety of the school year (September through June) at our on-site facilities.

Games
Each of our five teams will play a minimum of:
- 36 regular season games
- 2 tournaments
Plus exhibition games and playoffs.
Practices
5 days a week from Sept-Jun. The 2024/25 schedule is as follows:
U18 Prep: Mon-Fri, 8:40-9:40am
U17 Prep: Mon-Fri, 7:30-8:30am
U17: Mon-Fri, 9:50-10:50am
U15 Prep: Mon-Thu, 1:40-2:33pm; Fri, 12:45-2:05pm
U15: Mon-Thu, 2:43-3:35pm; Fri, 2:15-3:35pm
Tuition
Tuition Fees - $23,000* CAD
SD62 Sport School Registration (paid directly to SD62) - $650
* Plus applicable tax – 5% (GST)
Please note: Extraordinary trip expenses, such as airfare, for events outside of CSSHL League play (tournaments or college trips), not included.
Extra costs
CSSHL Player Registration Fee - $450
Billeting Fee, if required (paid directly to billet family, at $1000/mo) - $10,000
Out of Province Education Fees, if required (can seek reimbursement from home Province) - $5000
International Student Education Fees, if required - $16,250
Medical insurance while in Canada (if applicable) $1,100

What does my tuition include?
At PCHA your Hockey Academy tuition is all-inclusive.
Tuition goes towards covering the cost of:
Professional coaching and staffing fees, daily ice rentals, personalized off ice training with full time strength and conditioning coach - including gym and facility rental, Athletic therapist, 40+ games (CSSHL league play, exhibition and tournaments), Showcase cost-sharing, tournament entry fees, referees/officials/timekeeper and ice time for all home games, team equipment and apparel, team building events, transportation (airfare, ferry and team bus: Insurance, fuel, maintenance, CVI), hotel accommodations and meals on the road, team locker rooms and equipment storage, office space, player registration and insurance, CSSHL league & team registration (NOT including individual CSSHL Player Registration fees) and BC Hockey/Hockey Canada registration and league and team fees, website and social media coordinator, video software etc.
